Format: Problem–Solution Dialogue Panel
Avoid blame narratives and instead map responsibility across levels (local–national–private).

Youth & Innovation Track
Hackathon: "Zero Plastic Coast – Cameroon"
Format: Hackathon with Challenge Blast + Pitch-Off

- Youth & Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOP) as designers, presenters, and moderators
- Mentors from policy, business, and civil society
Session Details
- The Challenge Blast (14:30–15:30): Teams choose 2 of 6 problem statements and work with assigned mentors
- Teams create a mock-up of their solution (app wireframes or physical prototypes with cardboard)
- The Pitch-Off (15:30–16:30): Each team gets 3 minutes to pitch and 2 minutes for judge feedback
- Challenge topics include: mangrove plastic prevention, ghost net transformation, drainage solutions, sachet alternatives
