To ensure direct alignment with the conference theme and objectives, research and project abstracts are invited under the following five strategic solution pillars. We welcome submissions from researchers, practitioners, NGOs, youth-led initiatives, women’s groups, and early career ocean professionals.

Abstract Guidelines
Standard Abstract Format
Title — Clear, concise title reflecting the research/project
Author(s) and Affiliation(s) — All co-authors and their institutional affiliations
Abstract Body — 200–250 words maximum
Key Objectives / Questions — Clearly stated research goals or problem questions
Methods / Approach — Methodology employed in the study or project
Key Findings / Recommendations — Main results and actionable recommendations
Keywords — 4–6 relevant keywords for indexing
Selection Criteria
How Abstracts Will Be Evaluated
Scientific quality and novelty
Applicability to real-world ocean challenges
Alignment with UN Decade action priorities
Interdisciplinarity
Implementation potential and scalability
Regional relevance and equity impact
National geographical focus
Presentation Format
Selected abstracts will be presented in the 3-Minute Research (3MT) session. Presenters are required to deliver their findings using 1 static slide (no animations, no videos), starting with a compelling "Story Hook." All presenters receive a certificate of participation, and the top 3 presentations will be recognized.
